Scenarios available for Coastal Cities around the World that are sinking and Expensive solutions to address this

In the event of a meter rise in Sea Level which has actually accumulated over the last
25 years, there will be a need to build breakwaters and install pumping stations to operate 24/7/365
to prevent flooding in the downtown areas which have elevations of zero MASL ( Meters Above Sea Level ) up to 1 MASL.

These pumping stations will need a total of 272.5 MW of constant power for every Meter.

These figures are assumptions based on a land area of 10,000 hectares or a total of 100 Million
Square Meters.
